Halloween

 Tommy's last year to Trick-Or-Treat.  He chose to be Hobbes, from Calvin and Hobbes.  Note the sign, he is NOT Tigger.  The entire school puts on a parade for all the parents, and each other.

After school, we came home and made a "pumpkin" cake- it was really chocolate with chocolate frosting "cause that is what we like!  And we made chili and pig-in-a-blanket. Yum!  Halloween food even though it is really warm outside.

After all the pumpkin carving and good food, I got reallly sick. So I convinced Topher to take Tom Trick or Treating. Topher agreed as long as he could collect candy too.  So, Topher called some of his friends, and Tom adn TOpher joined up with them.  Brett handed out candy, and I went to bed.

Because we weren't planning on Topher going, he didn't have a costume.  But that's OK. Some crazy hair and  a striped shirt and voila! he is Calvin.  And he quickly memorized the following quote from Calvin andHobbes.... So he could answer the question, "What are you supposed to be?"

“What are you supposed to be?”

“I’m yet another resource-consuming kid in an overpopulated planet, raised to an alarming extent by Hollywood and Madison Avenue, poised with my cynical and alienated peers to take over the world when you’re old and weak.

Am I scary, or what?”
