Bees Game

While Chris and his family were here, we had the chance to go to the Bees Game. We love to see baseball!

Tommy and his program.
Tom loves to keep score. Unfortunately, this program was not a great place to keep score and we left the real score books at home. Guess we'll just have to visit with the cousins!

Roosevelt Hospital

Do you know where the hospital is in Roosevelt, UT? We Do!  That would be because the clinic at Starvation Reservoir in Duchesne does not have a doctor on staff. So, when Tom split his head open wake boarding, we had to drive half an hour to Roosevelt so put staples in his head.

Topher Slalom Skiing
We were just having a good time skiing.  Then Tom fell, and the Board came up behind him and hit him in the head.  Luckily, Tom and I had driven up in my car to meet those who had been at Scout Camp.  So, Randy and the boys were able to pull the boat out of the water, while I made a mad dash for the doctor.  The only problem was that none of our cell phones were charged. So I kept saying, "Now when my husband shows up, tell him...."
topher's rooster tail! Wow!

Tommy on the Wake Board

Ouch! Three staples in Tom's head!  It is really scary to look down and see your child bleeding. And head wounds bleed a lot!  But it turned out to be not such a big deal, but large enough that they chose to staple it together.  Easier than stitches.  Tom turned out to be very brave.  We did look a little odd- we were the only ones in the Insta Care in Swimsuits! Luckily I had my shirt! and my swim shorts!

The map the clinic drew us to get to the hospital.

Kennecott

Tommy and Tire
While all the boys, (and Randy) are at Aaronic Priesthood camp, Tom and I have some time to ourselves! So we went to the movies, and today we are headed to Kennecott to see the Bingham Canyon Copper Mine.

This is a tire from one of the huge dump trucks that haul the dirt around.

Look at how little the big 9 passenger vans look next to those huge dump trucks!

Tommy and the 2012 Olympic Medals

They took the metals for the Olympic Medals out of the ground here at Kennecott.

Looking down into the huge pit that you can see from space.

On the way home, we found a fun park out at Day Break Housing Development. So, we stopped to take a climb.

It was lots of fun to climb!
