We had to take out the basketball hoop in order to park the boat on the side of the house. We thought at first, that we could cut the pole, but it was filled with cement.
Plan B was to dig up the cement and remove the pole. But the cement was at least 4 feet deep.
Finally, plan C was to dig a giant hole, knock over the pole, and bury the whole thing. yea! it worked!! What a lot of work to get rid of it. I am sure whoever put it in, never thought the pole would be removed.
We even got Bryn to help us dig!
