Getting ready for Rob's first date/ first High School dance!
We served dinner at our house.
Everything was Maroon- Go Diggers!
We even had a cute, festive, center piece thanks to Grandma Buskirk.
Halle came up to serve dinner. She was the perfect hostess and a wonderful waitress.
Halle and I waited outside and played with Max while we waited for everyone to arrive. We liked the flowers outside, too.
Rob and Amanda
Rob asked Amanda out by taking her flowers and a cute poem asking her to the dance. But because he knew she was away at a tennis tournament for the weekend, he decided to just leave the flowers on her doorstep. Come Monday morning, everyone in physics class was telling whether or not they had asked/ been asked to homecoming. Imagine Rob's surprise when Amanda said that no one had asked her. Turns out, Rob left the flowers at the wrong house, and he had to repeat the whole process. This time, actually talking to her!
Amanda answered Rob, by leaving buckets of Corn Flakes all over the doorstep. He had to dig through the flakes to find and put together the note: "I know this is "Corny"- YES!"
Gabbi and Kaleb
Keziah and Dallin
This was a very fun group. They had lots of fun, talking, and laughter!
What a cute group! They had pot roast, potatoes, cooked carrots and salad for dinner.
After the dance, and pictures, they came back to our house to play games, visit, and have brownie sundaes! What a fun night!
Randy and I had fun too. Dallin's parents came over and we hung out all night with Scott and Amanda Jerrard. Lots of fun for us, too!
