Sandy City Clean Up Day

 

Sandy City has a Clean Up day in the Spring and again in the Fall. Sandy City pays for removal of large trash items, and large yard clippings.  It looks really trashy for a few days while everyone puts their “garbage” out on the curb, but all in all, it keeps Sandy really clean and all trimmed up.

So in preparation for this year’s clean up day, we are trimming trees, pulling weeds, and getting rid of all those things that accumulate in your yard that are just ugly!

 There are a couple of what used to be "Lilies" that have turned into wild grass patches.  So in trying to remove them, we broke the shovel. OK, it was acutally me who broke it. Oh well.

Then, of course, the parts became guns, and other weapons of mass destruction.

 At least everything can become a game!
