Friday, October 2nd was 85 degrees. Rob and Brett and Randy were off from school. So, when Tom and Topher got home from school at 1:30, we decided to go boating! Yea!!! Unfortunately, Rob was sick, so he decided to stay home and sleep. But the rest of us had fun!!!
Brett did a great job of waterskiing. He went in and out of the wake and had a really nice, long ride!
Tom is very helpful on the boat - being the rope man!
Randy got a really nice ride on the "Big Daddy" slalom ski he borrowed from a neighbor. Then the second ride, he broke the rope handle. Sometimes, you just gotta let go, buddy!
Then we got out the tube. Mom had a fun ride- not too bumpy!
Then, the boys played "King of the Tube" seeing who could stay on the longest!
Dad sure gave them a crazy ride!
Then , it was time for the kids to try out their new fishing poles. We didn't catch anything
(mom says "yea!")
(mom says "yea!")
but the kids had fun casting and learning to bait the hook.
We had a great day, but as we were loading the boat onto the trailer, the mosquitos came out in full force. AGH!!!
Overall, it was a fabulous day on the lake.
Much better than being in school!!!
