The family went to Lagoon yesterday (sans Dad, who had to go to in-service meetings). We had a lot of fun. It wasn't too hot - only 92 degrees.
Kate was NOT excited to ride the rides!
This ride is called Odysea. You flew your "ship" up and down, past whales and dolphins that sprayed you with water. We all had fun getting wet! The water felt really good. We had two schools of thought, Topher who tried to stay as dry and possible, and me who went for every chance to get wet.!
We happened to stumble on an "Extreme Parrots - Bird Show." They even let you pet the parrot! Brett was in heaven! We also saw talking birds, and really, really low-flying birds that went right over your head.
Roarin' Rapids - is Grandma's favorite ride at Lagoon!
She even made us go twice!

Grandma Buskirk and Liesl and the girls met us up at the park. We rode lots of rides. And even had lunch in the park.
