On Friday, Tommy hit his first Grand Slam!! The bases were loaded and Tommy hit a line drive all the way to the fence!!
All three runs scored, and as Tommy ran home, he slid into homeplate. The umpire called him out, but Tommy noticed the catcher had dropped the ball. The umpire changed his call, and Tommy was safe!!!
As soon as we got home from the game, Tommy couldn't wait to call his cousin, Jake, and tell him about the exciting day! Tommy is the only Johnson boy to have hit a Grand Slam!!
