Welcome Spring!

Yea! It is Spring!  Tax Season is over! Double Yea!  Celebrate! I am unemployed!!!  Mom and I went out to Celebrate and we came up with some fun things to decorate my kitchen window. Thanks Mom!

I am so glad it is getting warm outside! No snow! And the grass is finally turning green! And the tulips are out! Yea!!!!

The Last Pinewood Derby!

It is our Last Pinewood Derby!  Can't say I am very sad about that.... they can really test your patience...

 Getting ready to weigh in.  It was just the right weight at the post office, but the scout scale said we were .05 grams too heavy! AGH!  Let's just go with the post office....

But, that being said, Tom is excited about his car.  He designed it, Brett helped cut the wood, and Tommy sanded it, and painted it all by himself!  Go Tommy!



It turned out not to be the fastest car, but the race was a lot of fun!

Rob's Party

For his 16th Birthday, Rob had about 10 friends over for Pizza and games.  They ate a lot, talked a lot, and played lots of games.  As a parent, you just put out the food, and then try to get out of the way.

They played a lot of video games and then as Rob said, "We just sat around and talked - like old people!"

We have a 3rd Driver!!!

Yeah! Rob got his Drivers License!!!

He had to wait for the end of the quarter at school to be done with Drivers Education. And then down to the DMV to get the official license!!!

And then home, to add him to our insurance... and then the boys are off on their own!  Immediately, they headed off to the store.  How weird to wave goodbye to my son and my car!

It will be very nice that Rob can drive himself down to school at 5:45 AM for weight lifting  and back home again at 4:30 after track practice. Yea- No more trips to the High School!  (at least a lot less...)

Rob Turns 16!

Wow! I can't believe it has been 16 years since Rob joined our Family!!! He has grown tons in the last few years- and not just in height! Although he is taller than me, he has also grown spiritually and emotionally into a fantastic young man.

 I am so proud of you Rob!

Tami's Temple Trip

 Tami went through the temple for the first time today! We are all so very proud of her. She is a great and amazing lady/Aunt/ Teacher/etc.  I was greatly honored to be her co-escort along with Maureen. What a great Day!
